Building Control Systems & Services, Inc. was founded by Thomas A. Schrier and Cheryl M. Schrier.
Our mission is to provide technically proficient commercial control installation and services to our customers, with whom we will establish and maintain long term, service oriented relationships through excellent technical, field and sales services, competitive pricing and day to day decision making that reflects our desire to “partner” with our customers.
By hiring and retaining the most skilled and experienced union electrical installers available in the marketplace and by working with our customers to develop new and innovative programs which will continuously improve the services our customers receive, we intend to set the standard for control installation services. Our combined staff brings many decades of controls installation and business management experience to our customers.
Building Control Systems & Services, Inc. will work as a partner, from bid to completion, to provide the experience and services necessary to assist in winning contract awards.
Let’s face it...the temperature control industry is an ever changing marketplace. Scopes are defined, contracts awarded and then, so often, change from day to day. From bid to completion, the sales and technical staff of Building Controls Systems & Services, Inc. will work to meet changing needs, whether it’s a change in the bid, a change in the scope or a change order on the job site. We partner to solve installation problems and lessen the load on our customers by independently and successfully managing the temperature control installation on contracts within the deadline.
Our President and Co-Founder, Thomas A. Schrier brings over 30 years of experience in the temperature control industry to our customers. He is well known and respected in the local marketplace for his vast understanding of the architecture and design of temperature control systems, what is required to build them, as well as his attention to detail. Our customers have the peace of mind of knowing that through Tom, Building Control Systems & Services, Inc., provides bids and solutions that are reflective of the true nature of the work involved.
Our Vice President and Co-Founder, Cheryl M. Schrier brings over 30 years of successful business management and human resources experience to the corporation. Her leadership skills, excellence in business management, and strong human resource experience bring to our customers and employees the assurance that Building Control Systems & Services, Inc. has placed a high priority on recruiting and retaining the finest employees available, as well as meeting our customers needs as it relates to compliance concerns and operating a financially sound corporation.
Mike Dale serves as our Project Manager and provides installation support to our team of skilled installers. He is a proud member of IBEW Local Union #98 and brings 30+ years of installation excellence in a controls environment. He partners with our customer's Project Manager and our employees on a daily basis at the job site to ensure a smooth installation, efficient scheduling and effect a timely installation
Ed Hall serves as our Materials Coordinator. He has spent over 6 years in his current position and brings over 10 years experience in the maintenance and materials management for large commercial complexes. The largest portion of his responsibilities include the coordination and delivery of control parts and installation materials from you and your vendors, as well as our own vendors, to each job site for installation in keeping with the construction schedule.
Our team of highly skilled IBEW electricians represents decades of combined years of technically proficient control installation experience. Additionally, our employees are attentive to completion deadlines and customer satisfaction.
